Refund and Dispute Policy

Scope 
This policy applies to paid subscriptions to The Exposure Register purchased through register.verstand.ai. The product is digital editorial and analytical content delivered through the website and email. It is not a physical product. 

Billing errors and disputes 
Contact Verstand at [email protected] or 240-608-4619 if a charge appears incorrect. Verstand will acknowledge customer-service requests within one business day, Monday through Friday, with payment or access problems prioritized. Contacting Verstand first does not limit any right to dispute a charge with the card issuer. 

Refunds
Subscription charges are non-refundable after access to The Exposure Register begins. Cancelling a subscription stops future renewals but does not by itself create a refund for the current paid period. Access continues through the end of that paid period. 
This general rule applies to initial monthly and annual Portfolio purchases and to monthly and annual renewals. It also applies to Enterprise purchases unless the applicable order form or separate agreement states a different rule. Any negotiated Enterprise terms control. 
Verstand will investigate suspected duplicate, unauthorized, or incorrectly calculated charges. If Verstand confirms a billing error, it will correct the error and refund any amount due to the original payment method. Customers should report suspected errors to Verstand as soon as possible, and in any event within 30 days.
If a material, paid service failure prevents access and Verstand cannot restore access within a reasonable period, Verstand will provide such remedy as may be required by applicable law. Verstand may also, in its discretion, provide a full or prorated refund, service credit, or extension of access.  
Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method. Bank and card-network processing times may vary.  
This policy is intended to be interpreted in harmony with applicable law.  Nothing in this policy shall exclude, limit, or waive any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, limited, or waived. If applicable law gives a customer a right or remedy that cannot be altered by agreement, that right applies notwithstanding any inconsistent provision of this policy.  Where this policy conflicts with mandatory legal requirements, those requirements control. 
For customers who are entitled to a withdrawal or cancellation period for online digital content or digital services, Verstand will provide the disclosures and confirmations required by applicable law. If a customer requests access during that period, Verstand may request the customer’s prior express consent to begin performance and an acknowledgment that the withdrawal or cancellation right may be lost or affected once performance begins, but only where and to the extent applicable law permits.
