Most geopolitical publications are read once and discarded; the risks they describe are read about again, from scratch, whenever the news cycle returns to them. The Exposure Register works differently. It maintains a standing board of 12 to 18 geopolitical exposures, each one admitted only if it can plausibly reach both a company's money and its operations. Entries are organized not by region or headline topic but by transmission mechanism — the specific channel, such as physical chokepoints, capital controls, or critical-input dependencies, through which a geopolitical event travels into a balance sheet or an operating plan. Each week's issue reports what state every entry is in, what changed, and why, using a fixed evidence record and a stated confidence level for every claim. The register also publishes its own track record: when an entry resolves, readers get a dated account of what was reported correctly and what was not.
