How payments are processed
Subscription payments for The Exposure Register are processed through Stripe from the beehiiv checkout. Card details are entered into the Stripe-controlled payment flow and transmitted over an encrypted connection.
Card Data
Verstand does not receive a subscriber’s card number, expiration date, or card security code. The billing information available to Verstand is limited to information made available through the connected beehiiv Stripe account for transaction administration, support, reconciliation, refunds, and disputes.
PCI controls
Verstand relies on Stripe for PCI controls. Stripe maintains PCI DSS validation for its payment-processing services. Verstand does not independently certifies Stripe-controlled systems.
Website transport security
The public storefront and legal pages must be delivered over HTTPS at register.verstand.ai. The logged-out verification checklist must fail if any payment-path or policy URL redirects to an insecure endpoint or produces a certificate or mixed-content warning.
Reporting a concern
Report payment or subscription concerns to [email protected] or 240-608-4619. Verstand will acknowledge requests within one business day, Monday through Friday, with payment or access problems prioritized. If a subscriber believes payment or subscription information has been compromised, the subscriber should contact Verstand, Stripe and the relevant card issuer promptly.
